Children HARO has already stood beside
Eid gifts, cash support and orphan care from HARO's field record.
- 2013Eid funds for 137 orphaned children — 57 girls and 80 boys aged 6 to 15 — at Masjid Al Huda in Garowe.
- 2015About 200 orphaned boys and girls in Garowe received Eid money for new clothes from Ramadan donations.
- 2017Eid gifts reached up to 150 orphans in Garowe and Dangoroyo, continuing a program begun by the late Sheikh Abdulqadir Nuur Faarax.
- 2018Eid clothes for over 200 orphans in camps around Mogadishu, and Eid clothes and cash for orphaned children in Qardho.
- 2018Fifty women caring for orphans in Kismayo trained and given start-up capital through HARO’s microfinance program.
- 2019A two-bedroom home built for a family of four at KM13, Afgoye, under the HARO Orphanage Housing Project.
- 2021An orphanage home handed over to the orphaned children of the late Ahmed Mohamud Guled in Yubba, Sanaag region.
- 2022Make Orphans Happy on Eid reached children in Xarfo, Galmudug, and orphaned children in Laascaanood.
- 2024Eid gifts of $5,000 raised by the diaspora distributed to orphaned children in Laascaanood, and food packages for orphan-headed families in Eyl.
